The 2027 RAM 1500 is soon to arrive at dealerships across eastern New Mexico, and there's already a lot of buzz around what to expect from the newest run of legendary full-size trucks. If you're looking to learn more about what to expect, you're in luck: the experts here at Peña Bender Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM have the details.
Introducing the Hard-Charging Rumble Bee
If the latest RAM news tells us anything, it's that the 2027 model year will prominently feature the brand's novel take on muscle trucks. It's inaugurating a new line of high-performance trims, called Rumble Bee, which will join the trail-ready RAM 1500 Rebel, RAM 1500 Warlock, and RAM 1500 TRX. The pickup will be available in a trio of levels: base, 392, and SRT, an iteration designed by the Street and Racing Technology division of Stellantis North America. Notable features include:
- A quad cab configuration and five-foot-seven-inch cargo bed, offering a balance of passenger- and cargo-friendliness
- A shorter-than-typical wheelbase for enhanced handling off-road
- A TRX-style body kit and flared wheel arches, providing a distinctive aesthetic that's sure to get attention around town
Workhorse Capability Meets Massive Utility
Of course, the 2027 RAM 1500 will continue to deliver everything you love about the line-duty truck line:
- It remains available as a ruggedly durable, no-frills work truck, in Tradesman and Express trims, as well as a luxury hauler with premium accouterments, in Laramie, Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten variants.
- Available engines will still span the gamut from 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 395-horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V8 to supercharged 777-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8. You can also expect a new 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbocharged inline-six to be offered.
- It'll be ready to tow up to 11,530 pounds and haul up to 2,340 pounds, making it ideal for everything from transporting construction materials to trailering RVs, boats, and heavy equipment.
- It'll be home to leading-edge technology, including 10.3-, 12-, and 14.5-inch Uconnect infotainment options, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation, blind-spot detection, and ParkSense front and rear parking sensors.
